About Us
The Women’s Shift to Equality is a nonpartisan resource hub for advocates working to create cultural change that will:
Curb the violence toward women.
Change beliefs and behaviors that contribute to harmful actions toward women.
Elevate our society with practices that build security and respect for women.
Advance equality for all women and girls.
Equality for women includes empowerment and inclusion, nondiscrimination, equal right to economic resources, equal opportunity, equal access and equal pay in a nonviolent society that respects women.
Our Mission
The Women’s Shift To Equality facilitates positive change for women with our website links to organizations that provide solutions to barriers facing women; advocacy groups that help build momentum for their causes; and government contacts at federal and state levels to voice their positions on current and future laws or regulations.
We maintain a central base of resources that connects, informs, and facilitates collaborative efforts among advocates working for positive change.
We do this by our efforts to:
Gather resources in one location to maintain a directory of organizations that provide the tools to make lasting change.
Provide easy access to education and programs enabling users to establish or improve programs in communities, groups and institutions.
Provide quick connection to governmental entities and advocacy groups that will enable change agents to act in a timely manner on current topics.
Serve as the central hub where change agents can connect, collaborate and accelerate their advocacy efforts.
Keep advocates and like-minded people informed of current events and actions needed for advancing women’s equality. We do this via our newsletter TWSTE POST. We encourage everyone to sign up for this free newsletter on our website.
