Callisto

Callisto is a non-profit that creates technology for campus students and professional women. The safety app detects repeat perpetrators for students and empowers victims to make reporting decisions that feel right. Professional Callisto offers reporting a platform in the professional environment and it advises victims on their choices.

Capptivation

Capptivation safety app is available through app stores and offers Reach Out to people in the U. S. It also offers many expanded additions such as Reach Out Plus, ByStander Intervention, Reporter and more. Features include database of resources, a homepage for each college, a secondary school edition and an international edition.

Childhelp

Childhelp’s goal is to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. They focus their efforts on prevention, intervention, treatment, and community outreach. Childhelp programs and services help children from any situation and let them experience the life they deserve: one filled with love.

Crisis Text Line

Crisis Text Line is free, 24/7 support for those in crisis. In crisis? Text HOME to 741741 from anywhere in the U.S. to connect with a trained Crisis Counselor. Crisis Text Line trains volunteers to support people in crisis. With over 100 million messages processed to date, we’re growing quickly, but so is the need.

Cyber Civil Rights Initiative (CCRI)/Crisis Hotline

This site offers an Online Removal Guide for victims of “revenge porn.” They work with all of the major social media and tech companies to provide guidance on how to report violations on their platform. Victims can call the CCRI Crisis toll-free Helpline at 844-878 2274.

If you are a victim of nonconsensual pornography (“NCP”, also known as “revenge porn”), recorded sexual assault (RSA), or sextortion and you reside in the United States, call the CCRI Crisis Helpline at 844.878.CCRI (2274). Compassionate and cross-trained representatives can provide information, support, referrals, and non-legal advice. The toll-free CCRI Crisis Helpline is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week, and interpretation is available in most languages.

The Deaf Hotline

The National Deaf Domestic Violence Hotline offers support for Deaf callers nationwide. They provide advocacy and information regarding domestic violence and sexual assault. Deaf advocates can be reached at anytime through videophone, live chat or email.

Fix App Ratings

Fix App Ratings works to create safer digital places for kids and the creation of an independent app ratings board. A PDF template to help pass resolutions at the state level is also available.

Heart Mob

HeartMob is a platform that provides real-time support to individuals experiencing online harassment and empowers bystanders to act.

IMAlive

ImAlive is a live online network that uses instant messaging to respond to people in crisis. The organization focus is on suicide intervention, prevention, awareness and education. ImAlive provides help and hope through online crisis chat, college campus and high school events.

The Jed Foundation

LGBT National Help Center

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) National Help Center provides vital peer-support, community connections and resource information to people with questions regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity. The center provides hotlines, youth talkline, senior hotline, peer chat and more.

LOVE IS RESPECT

Love is Respect’s purpose is to engage, educate and empower young people to prevent and end abusive relationships. Online, Love is Respect strives to be a safe, inclusive space for young people to access information and get help in an environment that is designed specifically for them. Their website provides comprehensive education on healthy, unhealthy and abusive dating relationships and behaviors.

Maternal Mental Health Hotline

A 24/7, free, confidential hotline for pregnant and new moms in English and Spanish.

Missing Kids

Missing Kids is a national clearinghouse and comprehensive reporting center for all issues related to the prevention and recovery from child victimization. The organization works with families, victims, private industry, law enforcement, and the public to assist with preventing child abduction, recovering missing children, and providing services to deter and combat sexual exploitation.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. It offers toll-free helpline, education, and advocacy.

National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors (NASADAD)

NASADAD is an educational, scientific and information organization. It’s purpose is to foster and support the development of effective alcohol and other drug abuse prevention and treatment programs throughout every State. National Coalition for the Homeless

The National Coalition for the Homeless is a network of people who are experiencing or have experienced homelessness, activists and advocates. They also provide a list of places to look for help.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline

This hotline provides information, crisis intervention, safety planning, resources, and hope to anyone affected by domestic violence and abuse, 24/7/365. Get help, stay safe, financial information, and blogs for survivors, healthy love and support.

National Human Trafficking Hotline

The National Human Trafficking Hotline connects victims and survivors of sex and labor trafficking with services and supports to get help and stay safe. The National Hotline also receives tips about potential situations of sex and labor trafficking and facilitates reporting that information to the appropriate authorities in certain cases.

National Parent Helpline

The mission of Parents Anonymous is to strengthen families by positively impacting the well-be-ing of families and communities worldwide. The organization resources include the parent help-line, state resources, downloadable materials, blog and newsletter.

National Runaway Safeline

The National Runaway Safeline is the federally designated national runaway and homeless youth crisis hotline and online service in the United States. Need to talk: call, chat, email. Resources for youth and teens, parents and guardians.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

988 Lifeline for Suicide and Crisis is a national network of local crisis centers that provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals. Services include: support for local crisis centers, youth, disaster survivors, maternal mental health, Native Americans, veterans, loss survivors, LGBTQ+, deaf or hard of hearing, individual help.

The Pop Culture Hero Coalition works to educate and support children, teens and adults to overcome bullying and social injustice, and to transform their struggles into strength.

Protect Young Eyes

Protect Young Eyes is defending kids and teens from the dangers lurking on internet-ready devices through research and tools for parents. Resources include guidelines for echo, google, smart TVs and more.

RAPE, ABUSE & INCEST NATIONAL NETWORK (RAINN)

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. The organization created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline, 800.656.HOPE. Plus if offers live chat, online safety tips, safe web browsing, and social media safety.

Safe Helpline

This site is the Department of Defense sole hotline for members of the DoD community affected by sexual assault. To best support survivors, Safe Helpline is both anonymous and confidential, as well as secure, which gives us the ability to provide a uniquely safe space for survivors to get help, information and to heal at their own pace. It is operated by RAINN.

Safe Horizon

Safe Horizon's mission is to provide support, prevent violence and promote justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities. It offers a 24 hour hotline.

SAMHSA Hotline

A national, free, confidential, 24/7, treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.

Stronghearts

StrongHearts is a Native-centered hotline staffed by advocates with a strong understanding of Native cultures, as well as issues of tribal sovereignty and law. It also offers downloadable StrongHeart material, publications and books, and blogs with culturally-relevant information.

Talk to Spot

Research shows that talking to a human is one of the biggest obstacles to reporting inappropriate behavior at work. That’s where Spot comes in. It’s an unbiased bot, available 24/7. Spot’s AI reporting tool makes it safer for employees to speak up and easier for HR to follow up, even on anonymous reports. Users can download a private version of the report as a secure, timestamped document.

Tech Safety/ APP

This app explores six categories: harassment, impersonation, cellphone safety, device safety, location safety, and online safety. Under each category, more information is provided with specific explanations on what someone can do if they are being harassed as well as privacy tips that can be used to increase privacy and security. Available in English and Spanish. Program of NNEDV.

Tech Safety/ Resources

The Safety Net Project develops resources and information on the use of technology for agencies and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and trafficking. It is a program developed and offered by the National Network to End Domestic Violence.

Teen Health & Wellness/ Hotline

The award-winning Teen Health & Wellness provides middle and high school students with up-to-date, nonjudgmental, straightforward curricular, and self-help support. This targeted link provides hotlines, helplines, and information by national organizations that can also refer you to state and local services. Topics covered include diseases, drugs, alcohol, nutrition, mental health, suicide, bullying, LGBTQ issues, and more.

That’sNotCool.com

That’sNotCool is a national public education initiative that partners young people to help raise awareness and address dating violence, unhealthy relationships and digital abuse. It educates teens across the nation on common problems in healthy relationships through interactive games, videos, and callout cards.

ULifeline

ULifeline is an anonymous, confidential, online resource center, where college students can be comfortable searching for the information they need and want regarding emotional health.

uSafeUs

USafeUS is an easy to use smartphone application that allows you to stay safe by using interactive features, instantly access help in your area should you ever become a victim of sexual violence, and to learn how to approach and help someone who has experienced an assault.

Victim Connect Resource Center

Victim Connect is a referral helpline where crime victims can learn their rights and options confidentially and compassionately. There are additional resources. This is a program of the National Center for Victims of Crime. Call or text 1 855 4842846.

Womens Law Hotline

Womens Law provides basic legal information, referrals, and emotional support related to domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking. This is a project of the National Network to End Domestic Violence.

We Said Enough (WSE)

WSE’s Digital Platform creates a community of survivors, volunteers and activists who can provide immediate social support to victims of sexual harassment, abuse and bullying along with needed restorative resources to begin the healing process.
