Internet Porn Harms Children (4).png

Challenge Porn Culture

Educate, protect your children and advocate for change.

Pornography shapes the sexual norms of our society. It is pervasive and easily accessible to all ages. Those who produce porn and the large corporations who sell it are making billions of dollars; while those caught up in it, viewers of porn and their families suffer tragic consequences. The following organizations offer education, programs and resources to stop this human tragedy.

Culture Reframed

Culture Reframed provides education and resources to build resilience and resistance to hypersexualized media and porn. Culture Reframed responds to the pornography crisis by providing education and support to promote healthy child and youth development, relationships, and sexuality. They aim to empower participants to create positive and lasting change in families and communities harmed by the sexually abusive and hypersexualized media that marks the digital age.

Culture Reframed Parents Program

The Culture Reframed Parents Program is a complete, best-practice toolkit, which will help you raise porn-resilient kids.

Cyber Civil Rights Initiative (CCRI)

Cyber Civil Rights’ mission is to fight nonconsensual pornography and other forms of online abuse by providing victims with support and referral services; advocating for legislation to address such abuse; collaborating with the tech industry to develop design-based solutions; and educating the courts, lawmakers, law enforcement, and the general public about the nature and prevalence of online abuse.

Fight the New Drug

Fight the New Drug is a non-religious and non-legislative organization that exists to provide individuals the opportunity to make an informed decision regarding pornography by raising awareness of its harmful effects using only science, facts, and personal accounts.

Fortify

Fortify is an online support community for men and women – young and old – seeking lasting freedom from pornography. In addition to a series of instructional videos and accompanying training, the organization offers many opportunities for individuals to share insights and stories together.

National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE)

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation is dedicated to addressing the harms of all forms of sexual exploitation—from sex trafficking, to sexual violence, to prostitution, to child sexual exploitation, and more. One of the topics that makes NCOSE unique is their emphasis on the exploitation and public health harms of pornography.

The role of pornography in sexual exploitation is chronically under-represented and misunderstood in the field of human rights, and so we regularly hear the same questions and arguments from individuals who defend pornography as a neutral or positive substance. This link takes you to some answers to the frequently asked questions about pornography.

Defend Young Minds

Protect Young Minds prepares kids to protect themselves from porn, helps them heal from the harmful effects of porn, and educates families on how to reject pornography. It’s not rocket science! It’s brain science.
