These websites focus on information about health for all ages. Educators can use the content as teaching tools to encourage students to make better life decisions and adults can increase their knowledge about health topics. It is not a resource for specific diseases. It is not intended to take the place of consultations with doctors.


ACTIVE MINDS  

Active Minds is a national nonprofit organization supporting mental health awareness and education for young adults.  The organization focuses on education, research, advocacy, and insight and resources for young adults ages 14-25 via chapters at colleges across the nation.

American College Health Association (ACHA)

The ACHA’s mission is to advance the health of college students and campus communities through advocacy, education, and research. Programs include ACHA youtube channel and College Health Topics (A-Z).

American Psychological Association (APA)

APA’s mission is to promote the advancement, communication, and application of psychological science and knowledge to benefit society and improve lives. They do this by utilizing psychology to make a positive impact on critical societal issues. The organization’s Topics section offers information on all psychological topics (A-Z) including addiction, sexual abuse, teens, anxiety, trauma, and more.

ANAD

Eating disorder recovery is possible. ANAD is here to help with free support including helpline, support groups and mentorship programs. Delta Phi Epsilon raises funds and supports ANAD’s mission and values.

Answer is an award-winning, national organization, providing invaluable sexuality education resources to millions of young people and adults every year. Resources include information for professionals, teens, parents, websites, and answers.

BOlder Women’s Health Coalition

BOlder Women offers public education for patients, caregivers, and families. The coalition develops greater cultural awareness of older women’s physical and mental health needs, while pushing back on stigma and stereotypes. The organization coordinates advocacy and public policy efforts, and shares resources.

CDC Health Services for LGBT

People who are lesbian, gay, sexual, and transgender find networks, services, and health clinics by state available to address their needs.
