Athletes for Hope

Athletes For Hope was designed to bring all types of athletes together to educate and inspire them to channel their energy for a common goal: to make a difference in the world.

Girls On The Move

A Women’s Sports Foundation program, Girls On The Move offers guides, resources and programs.

Girls On The Run

At Girls on the Run, the core values guide our way. We value the dignity and humanity of all people and are dedicated to being inclusive, diverse, equitable and assessable. There are programs for grade school, parent resources and a camp.

International Working Group on Women and Sports

The IWG is the world’s largest network dedicated to advancing gender equity and equality in sport, physical education and physical activity.

Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies

MAAPP limits one-on-one adult/minor interactions and sets standards for training and sports settings that prevent abuse and misconduct. Sports organizations invested in keeping young athletes free of abuse are strongly encouraged to adopt MAAPP.

Play Academy

Play Academy with Naomi Osaka is a program created with the goal of changing girls’ lives through play and sport. Play Academy provides grants and capacity-building training for community sports organizations.

Project Play

Project Play connects the silos and drives systems-level progress. Launched in 2013 by the Aspen Institute Sports and Society Program, the initiative convenes leaders and creates frameworks that stakeholders can mobilize around.

Raliance

Raliance is a collaborative initiative dedicated to ending sexual violence in one generation. Values, norms, and behaviors can be taught throughout the sport pipeline to cultivate and support healthy individuals, teams and communities.

Safe Soccer

The U S Soccer Federation has developed the Safe Soccer Framework as a foundation from which all participants in the soccer community play an active role in creating an environment free from emotional, physical and sexual abuse. The framework includes policies, screening, education and training, reporting, monitoring and enforcement

Team USA

Team USA is supported by the U S Olympic Paralymic Foundation. The USOPF generates financial resources that help Team USA athletes reach their full potential, both on and off the field of play. It provides a positive, healthy and safe environment; an ombuds program; and training centers.

U. S. Center for Safe Sport

U S Center For Safe Sport is an independent nonprofit committed to building a sport community where participants can work and learn together free of emotional, physical and sexual abuse and misconduct.

WeCoach

WeCoach is the premier membership organization dedicated to the recruitment, advancement, and retention of women coaches of all sports and levels.

Women’s Sports Foundation

The role of the Women in Sport Commission is to advise the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session, the IOC Executive Board, and the IOC President on the development and implementation of the IOC women and sport policy and to promote equal opportunities for girls and women to participate in, and benefit from sport and physical activity.

Women’s Sports Foundation

WSF works to fulfill the needs of girls and women in sports. Programs include grants and scholarships, community programs, and leadership skills. The organization advocates for school-aged and elite athletes around the world.

Women Sports International

WomenSport International is the global voice of research-based advocacy for women in sport. WSI objectives include indentifying and promoting issues of importance; serving as an international advocacy group; supporting individuals; operating as an umbrella organization that can bring positive change for women in sport.
